I Wouldn’t Vote For Ron Paul Either…

…because I despise any semblance of any authority, no matter what that authority is, that I have not consented to, over me.

Indeed, Ron Paul himself states this very clearly, even if he himself might not realize it, why anarchists are the ones that have premises and principles that may have actions measured against:

“It is not we non-interventionists who are isolationists. The real isolationists are those who impose sanctions and embargoes on countries and peoples across the globe because they disagree with the internal and foreign policies of their leaders. The real isolationists are those who choose to use force overseas to promote democracy, rather than seek change through diplomacy, engagement, and by setting a positive example. …”

Remove the “diplomacy” bit (meaning, political diplomacy), and I’m in agreement with Paul. I just don’t think or even want someone that I’ve not personally consented to do so, to speak on my behalf with anyone else. Regardless of where they live or reside or are living their own life in this world.
